why this vintage style?

I’m Tim Hetherington, the photographer and founder of Silver Noir Studios.

My goal is to work with you to create timeless pieces of art that can transcend generations. This is not a cosplay - it is a recreation of a style that was popularised in the mid-century. Its a style that encapsulates mystery, intrigue, glamour and elegance. I would like to help give you the same experience that starlets in the 1950’s or leading men.

I’m collaborating with professional Hair & Make-up artists that specialise in the vintage style. I also collaborate with classic car owners and have conducted location scouting for unique, vintage backdrops. In addition, I run a professional photography studio where we can dial in the lighting just perfectly, in the same way the greats from that era did.
